ATI is a training program for new and existing support staff at independent insurance agencies. It bundles two things: a self-paced LMS with 80+ lessons across 12 modules, and a 90-day live trainer program — 3 hours of live training per week, 1-on-1 or group as needed, 39 hours over the 90 days. It's an addition to your agency's training: the trainer folds in your existing material rather than replacing it.

The output is a hire — even one who started with zero insurance experience — working as trained support staff who can quote, issue, endorse, and service a personal or commercial book of business by day 90.

Independent P&C insurance agencies hiring support staff — including people with zero insurance experience. The sweet spot is agencies with 5-50 employees that hire 2-8 support staff per year and currently rely on producer shadowing for onboarding.

Agencies under 5 people use ATI as ongoing training reference. Agencies over 50 typically run a Full seat per net-new hire ($799/mo while onboarding) plus LMS-Only at $129/mo for the rest of the team.

Three groups should look elsewhere:

  • Agencies looking only for state licensing exam prep. ATI trains both tracks — hires working toward a license and non-licensed service-side staff — but it is not a licensing exam course. We can refer you to pre-licensing providers.
  • Captive agencies (State Farm, Allstate, Farmers, etc.) whose carriers already provide proprietary support-staff training that overlaps with our curriculum.
  • Producer-only training. ATI is built for service-side roles. Producer sales training is a different muscle and not what this program does.

ATI is an addition to your agency's training, not a replacement. The trainer folds your existing material into the 90-day plan — your carrier appetites, your AMS workflow, and your client-handling voice stay yours. That includes third-party content: if you're juggling training modules from carriers or other vendors, hand them to us and we'll sequence them inside the program, so there's one track to follow instead of five logins to chase.

Every module ends with a "What your trainer should layer in" section so the agency knows exactly where to add their own context. The result is one structured 90-day path instead of months of ad-hoc shadowing.

Twelve modules covering the real workflow of agency support staff, paced as phases inside the 90-day program:

Phase 1 — Personal Lines

  • Module 1: Personal Auto Insurance
  • Module 2: Homeowners Insurance
  • Module 3: Umbrella & Other Lines (flood, dwelling fire, inland marine)

Phase 2 — Commercial Lines

  • Module 4: Commercial General Liability (CGL)
  • Module 5: Workers' Compensation
  • Module 6: Commercial Auto
  • Module 7: Commercial Property & BOP

Phase 3 — Agency Operations & Client Service

  • Module 8: Policy Servicing Part 1 (endorsements & policy changes)
  • Module 9: Policy Servicing Part 2 (certificates, cancellations, reinstatements)
  • Module 10: Claims Fundamentals
  • Module 11: Client Communication (phone, email, difficult conversations)
  • Module 12: Compliance & E&O Prevention

Phase 4 — Systems & Real-World Scenarios — agency management systems, final scenario practice, and the day-90 skills assessment with your trainer. Additional modules in this track are being released through 2026.

$ Pricing & billing

Three options, all month-to-month:

  • Full — LMS + Trainer at $799/mo while onboarding: the full LMS (80+ lessons across 12 modules) plus 3 hours of live training per week, 1-on-1 or group as needed — 39 hours over the 90 days — built on your agency's existing material. After day 90 with no new hires, the rate drops to $129/mo and your whole team keeps the LMS; it goes back to $799/mo on your next hire.
  • One-Time Program at $999: the complete 90-day program for a single hire, with LMS access during the program only.
  • LMS-Only at $129/mo: full LMS, self-paced, no trainer. Standardizes your in-house training — and it's the same rate Full agencies drop to between hires.

See the pricing page for details.

LMS-Only at $129/mo is self-paced: the full LMS, no live trainer. It standardizes your in-house training and is also the rate Full agencies pay between hires.

Full at $799/mo while onboarding is the complete program: the full LMS plus the 90-day live trainer program — 3 hours per week, 1-on-1 or group as needed, 39 hours over the 90 days — with the trainer building on your agency's existing material. Same curriculum either way — the difference is the live trainer.

Subscriptions are month-to-month: cancel any time from your dashboard; the current month is not refunded. The One-Time Program is a single $999 payment covering the full 90-day program.

On the Full plan, the rate drops automatically. Once your hire finishes the 90-day program and you have no new hires onboarding, the seat drops from $799/mo to $129/mo — and your whole team keeps full LMS access in the meantime.

The moment you bring on your next hire, the seat goes back to $799/mo and the live trainer program starts again for that person. No re-enrollment, no contracts — everything stays month-to-month.

Yes. Volume discounts start at 5+ Full seats. Multi-location agencies typically combine Full seats for active hires with LMS-Only seats as ongoing reference for the rest of the team. Book a call and we'll price it.

Yes, in many cases. Several aggregators and clusters reimburse member agencies for support-staff training that ends in a measurable competency. At day 90 your trainer runs a skills assessment, and you receive a completion summary documenting what your hire can now do — built with reimbursement programs in mind. Ask us for the receipt format your aggregator accepts.

T Training & trainer

On the Full plan, you get a 90-day live training program: 3 hours of live trainer time per week, 1-on-1 or group as needed — 39 hours over the 90 days — with the trainer building the plan on top of your agency's existing material. LMS-Only does not include live trainer time.

Sessions are tailored. Your trainer reviews your AMS, your top three carriers, and your typical service-ticket mix before the first call. Sessions cover real-world scenarios, role-play, and live walkthroughs of real quote, endorsement, and FNOL tasks.

Insurance professionals with at least 8 years of agency-side experience. We match each agency with a trainer experienced in the lines and workflows your book actually runs on.

Trainers are W-2 ATI employees, not contractors. They go through internal accreditation and ongoing upskilling.

Yes. Sessions can be co-attended by the agency owner or a designated mentor on your team. You'll receive a weekly summary of competencies covered, areas the learner needs more work on, and recommended in-agency practice tasks.

No license required to start. ATI trains both tracks: hires working toward their license and non-licensed service-side staff. Your hire can start the LMS and trainer sessions on day one — even with zero insurance experience.

If your hire is pursuing a license, ATI runs alongside that prep. We partner with two state-licensing providers and can warm-introduce you — either way, the 90-day program keeps your timeline.

The program runs 90 days: the LMS paced in phases, plus 3 hours of live trainer time per week — 39 hours total. At day 90, your trainer runs a skills assessment and you receive a completion summary.

Some learners move through the LMS lessons faster, but the live training is intentionally paced across the full 90 days so material can land between sessions and get practiced on real work inside your agency.

S Skills & outcomes

A hire who started with zero insurance experience finishes the program working as trained support staff. By day 90 they can:

  • Quote and issue personal and commercial lines policies
  • Process endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, and Certificates of Insurance
  • Handle claims intake and FNOL conversations
  • Communicate with clients by phone and email, including difficult conversations
  • Service a book of business with E&O-aware habits

At day 90 your trainer runs a hands-on skills assessment built around real tasks — quoting, endorsements, claims intake, and client communication scenarios — rather than a written test.

Progress is also visible all along the way: the LMS tracks lesson and quiz completion, and your trainer flags gaps in the weekly sessions so nothing waits until the end to surface.

A completion summary from your trainer: what your hire can now do independently, where they're strongest and weakest across the 12 modules, and recommended next steps inside your agency. You'll know exactly what to hand them on day 91.

{ } Technical

Modern Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. Native iOS and Android apps available for the LMS and quiz portions. The trainer block uses Zoom (a Zoom account is not required; we send a join link).

The LMS is standalone, no AMS integration required. Most agencies use ATI alongside AMS360, Applied Epic, EZLynx, HawkSoft, QQCatalyst, or Vertafore Sagitta.

Trainer sessions adapt to whatever AMS you use. Your trainer learns your specific setup in their pre-call prep.

Learner data is stored in US-region cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit. We never share learner data with carriers, recruiters, or other agencies. See our Privacy Policy for the full data handling breakdown.

Yes. CSV export of all learner progress and competency scores is available from the agency admin dashboard. SCORM and xAPI support are on the roadmap for enterprise customers.

A About ATI

ATI was built by a team of working agency owners, brokers, and veteran P&C trainers with decades of combined experience inside independent insurance agencies.

The curriculum was reverse-engineered from real on-the-job training across dozens of agencies. We productize what already works so every agency can train support staff to the same standard without rebuilding the program from scratch.

No. ATI is the training program. Your team member remains your employee, on your payroll, under your management.

We do not place, recruit, or staff. If you need help sourcing a hire, we maintain a referral list of placement partners we trust. The two services are independent.
