01 Acceptance
By creating an ATI account, subscribing to a plan, or otherwise using ATI services, you agree to these terms. If you are doing so on behalf of an agency or other organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization to these terms, and references to "you" include both you personally and the organization.
02 The service
ATI provides three things, separately or bundled depending on your plan:
- A learning management system with curriculum content for agency-side insurance work (the "LMS").
- Live trainer time delivered by an ATI regional trainer (the "Trainer Block"): 3 hours per week of live training — one-on-one or group, scheduled at ATI's reasonable discretion in coordination with the agency — across the 90-day onboarding (approximately 39 hours total). The Trainer Block is delivered while an onboarding is active; see sections 4 and 9.
- A day-90 skills assessment conducted by the assigned trainer at the end of the onboarding (the "Skills Assessment"). It is a trainer evaluation, not an exam, license, or credential.
What's in each plan is described on our pricing page. The pricing page is incorporated into these terms by reference.
03 Accounts & eligibility
Access depends on your plan: the Full — LMS + Trainer and LMS-Only subscriptions cover the subscribing agency's own team, and the One-Time Program covers a single named hire. Each learner gets their own login. You may not share login credentials between learners, even within the same agency, and you may not extend access to people outside the subscribing agency. Doing so terminates the affected access without refund.
ATI is designed for adult professionals working in or hiring into independent insurance agencies. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. The program is open to learners with no insurance experience and no license: it trains both license-track hires and non-licensed support staff. No license is required to enroll, complete the program, or receive the day-90 Skills Assessment.
04 Subscriptions & billing
All subscriptions are month-to-month and auto-renew each month at the then-current price unless cancelled before the renewal date. The current plans:
- Full — LMS + Trainer ($799/month while actively onboarding): full LMS access for the subscribing agency's team (80+ video lessons) plus the Trainer Block — 3 hours per week of live training across the 90-day onboarding (approximately 39 hours).
- Between-hires rate ($129/month): after the 90-day onboarding, if your agency has no active new hire in the program, the subscription automatically steps down to $129/month. LMS access continues for your whole team. The subscription returns to $799/month when a new hire enrolls and a new onboarding begins.
- One-Time Program ($999 one-time): the full 90-day program for a single named hire, including the Trainer Block and LMS access for that hire during the program only. Access ends at day 90. No ongoing subscription.
- LMS-Only ($129/month): self-paced LMS access. No Trainer Block.
We charge in advance for each billing period. We accept major credit cards via Stripe.
Price changes apply only at renewal and only if we have given you at least 30 days written notice (email to the address on file).
05 Cancellation & refunds
You can cancel at any time from your dashboard.
- Subscriptions (Full — LMS + Trainer and LMS-Only): all plans are month-to-month. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month. The current month is not refunded.
- One-Time Program: fully refundable any time before the program start date (the first trainer session or the named hire's first LMS login, whichever comes first). After the program starts, any refund is pro-rated at ATI's reasonable discretion.
We can terminate your account for cause (acceptable-use violation, non-payment, fraud) with notice. In that case, the remainder of your prepaid term is forfeited.
06 Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Share, resell, or sublicense your account, content access, or completed-lesson records.
- Download, scrape, or extract LMS content for use outside ATI without our written permission.
- Misrepresent the program or the Skills Assessment (it is a trainer's evaluation of agency-side support skills; it is not a state license, carrier-issued credential, or formal qualification of any kind).
- Harass or harm any ATI trainer or staff member during sessions.
- Use the service to violate any law, including insurance regulations.
07 Intellectual property
ATI owns the LMS curriculum, the trainer materials, the skills-assessment framework, and all related content. We license it to you for internal training purposes only, for the duration of your subscription or program.
Anything you submit during the service (quiz answers, assessment responses, trainer-session content you share) remains yours; you grant us a non-exclusive license to use it to deliver the service to you and to improve the curriculum in aggregate, anonymized form.
08 Skills assessment
At the end of the 90-day onboarding, the assigned trainer conducts a day-90 Skills Assessment of each enrolled hire: a structured evaluation of agency-side support skills covered in the program. There is no fee for the Skills Assessment.
The Skills Assessment is a trainer's evaluation, not an exam, and it does not produce a credential. It is not a government license, not a carrier appointment, and not a substitute for any state's continuing-education requirements. It does not guarantee employment, promotion, or any specific outcome.
09 Trainer block
Trainer Block sessions are scheduled weekly during an active 90-day onboarding via our scheduling tool, at ATI's reasonable scheduling discretion in coordination with your agency. Sessions may be one-on-one or group. You agree to:
- Show up on time, in a quiet space with reliable internet and a working camera.
- Provide at least 24 hours notice for cancellations. Same-day cancellations count as delivered for that week.
Trainer hours do not bank or accrue: they are delivered week by week while an onboarding is active, and unused hours do not roll over between weeks or billing months. When no onboarding is active, no trainer sessions are scheduled and the subscription is at the between-hires rate (section 4).
We reserve the right to reschedule a session if a trainer is unavailable due to illness or emergency. We do not reschedule based on convenience.
10 Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" without warranties beyond those required by law. We do not guarantee that:
- Any specific hire will reach any particular result on the day-90 Skills Assessment or be job-ready by any specific date.
- Your agency's ramp time will match any specific number we publish (the figures on our marketing pages are aggregate averages from early member agencies, not promises).
- The LMS will be available 100% of the time. We target 99.5% uptime.
11 Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ATI's total liability to you under or relating to these terms in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in that 12-month period.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost revenue, or lost data, even if we were advised they were possible.
12 Dispute resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
Before filing anything, you agree to email legal@agencytraininginstitute.com with a description of the dispute and to make a good-faith effort to resolve it informally for at least 30 days.
If informal resolution fails, disputes are resolved by binding arbitration in Delaware under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, on an individual basis. Class actions are waived.
13 Changes to these terms
We can update these terms. Material changes (anything that changes your obligations or our service commitments) trigger an email to active subscribers and a 30-day banner notice on this site. Non-material changes update silently with a new "Last updated" date.
Continued use of the service after a material change means you accept the new terms. If you don't accept, cancel before the change effective date.
