01 Who we are
Agency Training Institute ("ATI", "we", "us") is a Delaware corporation with offices in the United States. Our principal product is a learning management system (LMS), live trainer block, and training program for customer service representatives at independent insurance agencies.
This policy applies to data we collect through our marketing website, the LMS, the trainer-scheduling tools, the training platform, and any other ATI-branded surface.
02 What we collect
We collect data in three buckets. We try to be specific about each.
From website visitors
- Form submissions on this site: name, work email, phone, agency name, agency size, and any UTM/referrer parameters that came with your click.
- Pages viewed and approximate session duration, gathered via Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, and Meta Pixel.
- IP address and rough geolocation (country/region) at the time of request.
From enrolled learners
- Account profile: name, email, role, agency association.
- Progress data: which lessons completed, quiz scores, trainer skills-assessment results, time spent in each module.
- Trainer-session metadata: scheduled time, attendance, trainer-noted competency observations.
- If you enable recording, the audio/video of your trainer sessions for personal review (off by default; opt-in per session).
From agency administrators
- Account profile and billing data (handled by our payment processor; we receive only the last four digits and brand of the card).
- Seat assignments and learner progress reports for your agency's enrolled CSRs.
03 How we use it
We use data only for things you'd expect us to use it for:
- Deliver the product. Provision your LMS account, schedule your trainer, track lesson completion and the trainer's skills assessments.
- Respond to inquiries. Reply to demo requests, support tickets, and inbound calls.
- Improve the curriculum. Aggregate (not individual) quiz and assessment results help us identify weak spots in the material.
- Bill and account. Process payments via Stripe; reconcile subscriptions.
- Comply with law. Tax records, audit logs, fraud prevention.
We do not sell your data, do not rent email lists, do not feed it into model training pipelines, and do not share learner-level performance data with carriers, aggregators, or third-party recruiters.
04 Cookies & tracking
This site uses three categories of cookies and tracking technology:
| Category | Examples | Required? |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Session, CSRF, login state | Yes |
| Analytics | Google Analytics 4, server-side conversion API | No, can opt out |
| Marketing | Google Ads, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag | No, can opt out |
You'll see a cookie banner on first visit. You can change your consent any time by re-opening the banner from the footer link.
05 Sharing & processors
We share data only with vendors we hire to run ATI, under written data-processing agreements. Current list:
- Stripe — payment processing
- HubSpot — CRM, marketing automation, demo scheduling
- Amazon Web Services — primary hosting, US regions
- Zoom — live trainer sessions
- Postmark — transactional email
- Google (Workspace + Analytics + Ads) — internal email and website measurement
- Meta & LinkedIn — advertising attribution (only if you consent to marketing cookies)
06 Where data lives
All learner data is stored in US-region AWS infrastructure with encryption at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.2+). We do not currently host EU or APAC data residency. If your agency requires it, contact us before subscribing.
07 Retention
How long we keep things:
- Marketing leads (form submissions, demo requests): 24 months from last contact, then deleted.
- Learner accounts: for the life of the subscription, plus 12 months after cancellation to support re-enrollment.
- Training completion records: 7 years from completion, so verification continues to resolve.
- Trainer-session recordings (if opted in): 90 days, then deleted automatically.
- Billing records: 7 years per US tax law.
08 Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have some or all of these rights:
- Access the data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Delete your data, subject to retention requirements above.
- Export your data in a machine-readable format.
- Opt out of marketing communications (unsubscribe link in every email).
- Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
To exercise any of these, email privacy@agencytraininginstitute.com. We respond within 30 days.
09 Children
ATI is a B2B product for insurance agency staff and trainees. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.
10 Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our practices change. Material changes (new categories of data, new processors handling learner data, changes to retention windows) trigger an email to active subscribers and a banner notice on this site for 30 days. Non-material changes (typo fixes, clarifications) update silently with a new "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
